The kurta is woven from Banarasi georgette in a coral-orange ground threaded with gold zari — geometric diamonds, trailing vines, and a central sun medallion worked directly into the weave. Over this already-rich surface, silk appliqué patches are laid and highlighted with dabka metallic coiling and gota ribbon work, creating a layering of craft techniques that rewards examination at every scale.

The pure silk salwar answers in hot pink — a color clash so confident it could only be intentional — detailed with patch work and dori embroidery at the hem. A zari-embroidered Banarasi dupatta, substantial and luminous, completes the trio.
