Description
Woven from 80gm silk chanderi in ivory, the kurta carries mustard thread embroidery in a language that is deliberately geometric rather than botanical. At the neckline, a bold V-shaped chevron in mustard frames the face with graphic precision, accented by dabka metallic coiling and pita ribbon-work at the apex. Scattered mukaish sequins across the body catch light without announcing themselves.
The hem is where the embroidery fully commits: large-scale semicircular fan motifs — layered, architectural, reminiscent of temple gopuram profiles — run the full width of the kurta in mustard thread, mirrored precisely on the Maheshwari pants below.
A sheer dupatta with four-sided embroidery in the same mustard thread, bordered in delicate lace, completes a set that pairs the weight of craft with the ease of morning.
