Description
Woven from the same pure tissue and linen combination — an all-over horizontal stripe worked directly into the cloth, luminous where the tissue catches light, grounded where the linen holds it — this kurta works in butter yellow, a color that sits between maize and gold depending on the hour. The stripe reads warmer here than in its mint counterpart, the woven lines catching a shimmer that the cooler ground suppresses.
In the lower quarter of the kurta, scattered floral motifs in soft cream thread emerge against the yellow — bloom clusters placed with the same quiet intention as the embroidery in Shabnam, visible at close range, present without insisting. A zari patchwork appliqué at the hem border closes the composition in metallic warmth, the gold of the zari continuous with the gold of the ground.
The glazed cotton pants — fully tonal, with linen and tissue detailing at the hem — carry the warmth downward without interruption.
