Description
Worked in 40gm white chanderi in a blush-ivory tone, the all-over dull gold tissue appliqué traces a pure botanical composition: trailing vines, unfurling lotus blooms, and leaf forms moving across the sheer ground in a tone-on-tone palette so close to the fabric beneath that the design reveals itself gradually rather than announcing itself immediately. At this weight, the chanderi is transparent enough that the appliqué's dimensionality creates soft layered depth — the garden existing within the fabric rather than upon it.
The sleeve construction carries two details unique to this piece: a delicate needle lace trim running along the sleeve seam, and a structured accordion-pleated tissue cuff that closes the wide batwing sleeve with architectural precision. Across the upper back, a horizontal lace panel insert adds the finest possible finishing touch to a garment that rewards every angle.
