Two silver zari trails descend from the neckline of this hot pink chinya silk kaftan, each ending in a crescent chand motif with floral infill — the precise visual logic of a moon necklace, rendered in thread rather than metal. It is trompe-l'oeil embroidery: minimal in coverage, maximum in concept. The rest of the kurta is left entirely unembroidered, because nothing else is needed.
