Description
Where every other embroidered piece in this collection works in one or two thread tones, this kurta works in four simultaneously: pink, coral, yellow, and green, rendered in thread clusters that read as watercolor bouquets rather than embroidery motifs. Each floral grouping — carnations, tulips, and ranunculus-like blooms gathered into loose arrangements — is its own small painting, scattered across 40gm chanderi with the kind of apparent casualness that takes considerable craft to achieve.
The ground is gossamer. At this weight, the chanderi is sheer enough that the multicolor embroidery appears to float within the fabric rather than upon it — each bouquet luminous against the blush-ivory ground, visible from every angle as the fabric moves.
Lace and bead work frame the V-neckline in a horizontal panel, while wide lace trim at the sleeve cuffs and hem creates a consistent perimeter language — delicate, bridal-adjacent, and consistent with the piece's overall register of gentle abundance.
The khaitan silk pants carry the same multicolor floral embroidery at the hem, with a scalloped organza finish that closes the set with the same lightness it opens with.
