Woven from 80gm silk chanderi in ivory, the kurta carries powder blue thread embroidery in a composition that works equally hard on both sides: a pointed arch yoke and vertical leaf-vine borders on the front; a striking V-shaped embroidery panel across the back that transforms a silhouette most garments ignore into a second focal point. Dabka metallic coiling and pita ribbon-work accent the neckline, while organza paneling at the hem introduces a sheer, floating quality to the lower silhouette — and organza-trimmed sleeves add the same lightness at the cuff.

The Maheshwari pants — in a handwoven textile with characteristic fine structure — carry coordinating thread embroidery, finished with a delicate hem border. The dupatta, embroidered on all four sides, is the quiet proof that nothing here was left unconsidered.
