From the front, it presents with characteristic restraint: 80gm silk chanderi in a saturated chartreuse-olive, white thread embroidery at the yoke and placket, pita ribbon-work catching light at select outlines, scattered buti motifs across the body. The entire lower third of the back kurta carries a dramatically wide, densely worked panel of white thread embroidery — large-scale botanical and floral compositions that dwarf the front hem's restraint. It is the most elaborate back embroidery in this sub-collection, and its placement feels deliberate: a reward for the second glance, the departing view, the moment after arrival.
The pure silk organza dupatta, embroidered on all four sides, adds luminosity when draped — its sheerness layering the chartreuse beneath with a quality of light that shifts with every movement.
