Description
Woven from 80gm silk chanderi in ivory, the kurta carries brown thread embroidery with rose-warm undertones — a palette so close to the base fabric that the two seem to breathe together rather than contrast. Silver zari threads through the embroidery at the yoke and placket, where dabka coiling and pita ribbon-work add the quietest possible metallic accent. A rectangular medallion panel on the lower kurta and a dense running border at the hem provide structure without weight.
Scattered butis across the body maintain the same gentle rhythm — present, but never insistent.
The pants are organza — sheer, floating, the lightest possible foundation — with thread detailing at the hem. The dupatta, constructed from organza and chanderi in a single piece, is a textile study in two fabrics becoming one texture, finished on all four sides with coordinating brown thread embroidery.
